This experience is specifically designed for travellers between the ages of 21 and 39 who want an authentic, "non-touristy" London experience in a small, supportive group.
Do I have to spend every moment with the group?

Not at all! This is a social experience but everyone is entitled to their private time. While we have curated group meals and activities, the itinerary includes independent blocks for you to explore or just rest at the house. You can opt-out of any group activity if you need a breather.
What’s the accommodation arrangement?

We’re staying in a comfortable hotel in South London. You’ll have your own bedroom with a bathroom. Couples or friends who want to share a bed can do so for a slightly reduced rate (£1299pp).
What do I need to book myself?

You are responsible for booking your own flights, travel insurance, and any necessary visas. You will also need to arrange your own airport transfers. I will provide a detailed arrival guide to make getting to the house as easy as possible.

what is the total price?
The standard price is £1399pp in British Pound Sterling. This is inclusive of accomodation, daily breakfast, selected lunches and dinners, daily activities and hosting. The price for those sharing a room (one double bed) is £1299pp.

By booking this trip, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“the Terms”). These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the organiser.
1. Introduction and Scope
The trip is organised and hosted by the organiser.
These Terms apply to all bookings, payments, participation in activities, accommodation, and any other services provided as part of the trip.
A binding agreement is formed once the required deposit has been received by the organiser.
2. Eligibility and Group Suitability
This trip is designed for travellers who are interested in exploring London’s Black diaspora culture.
The intended age range for participants is 21 to 39 years.
The trip is open to all genders.
The trip is social in nature and includes a mix of cultural exploration, group activities, nightlife, rest, and independent time. It is not a dating trip.
Guests must be comfortable participating in a shared, social group environment and engaging respectfully with others.
The nature of this trip is active and requires guests to be comfortable walking long distances daily. Many scheduled activities take place outdoors and involve navigating public transport and city streets. Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in a walking-heavy itinerary
The organiser reserves the right to decline a booking if it is determined that the trip is not a suitable fit.
Approximately one week before the trip, the organiser will create a WhatsApp group to allow guests to connect in advance. Participation is optional and guests may opt out if they prefer not to be included.
3. Booking Process
An expression of interest must be submitted prior to booking.
An introductory call is recommended but not mandatory.
Guests must complete the booking form provided by the organiser.
A £300 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place on the trip.
A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Once the deposit is received, the organiser will send a booking confirmation by email.
4. Payments
The price for a standard room is £1399 per person.
A reduced rate of £1299 is available for those interested in a sharing a room (with one double bed).
The total trip price will be confirmed at the time of booking.
The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
The remaining balance is due by 27th July 2026.
If the full balance is paid before 27th July 2026, any amount paid beyond the deposit is refundable up to that date.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the stated deadline may result in loss of the guest’s place on the trip without refund of deposit.
Payments are primarily accepted via Stripe.
Alternative payment methods may be available upon request and subject to approval by the organiser.
5. Cancellations by the Guest
The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after booking, except where expressly stated in these Terms.
If a guest is unable to attend, they may request to transfer their place to another suitable person, subject to approval by the organiser.
Any costs associated with transferring a booking are the responsibility of the original guest.
6. Cancellations or Changes by the Organiser
If the organiser is required to cancel the trip, all payments made to the organiser will be refunded in full.
The organiser is not responsible for reimbursing any external costs incurred by guests, including but not limited to flights, visas, insurance, or other personal expenses.
A minimum group size may apply. If the minimum group size is not met, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the trip and issue a full refund.
In the event of any significant changes to the trip, guests will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
7. Itinerary Changes & Unforeseen Circumstances
The itinerary may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, including but not limited to weather conditions, availability of venues or activities, public transport disruption, strikes, safety concerns, or operational issues.
Where possible, the organiser will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives of similar value and experience.
No refunds will be issued for changes resulting from circumstances outside the organiser’s control.
The trip is sold as a group experience rather than a fixed or guaranteed schedule.
8. Force Majeure
Neither the organiser nor the guest shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these terms due to events beyond reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to:
Government restrictions or changes in law
Pandemics or public health emergencies
Natural disasters
Severe transport disruption
Acts of terrorism or civil unrest
In such circumstances, the organiser will assess the situation and may offer reasonable alternatives or refunds where appropriate. This does not apply to cancellations made by guests for personal reasons.
9. What’s Included
The trip price includes the following:
Accommodation in a comfortable, well-located hotel in London
Transport for London travel card covering Zones 1 to 4 for the duration of the trip (from arrival at accommodation)
Selected group activities outlined in the itinerary
Daily breakfast at the hotel
Four additional group meals, including a mix of lunches and dinners
Group coordination and hosting by the organiser
10. What’s Not Included
The trip price does not include:
Flights to and from London
Airport transfers
Activities not explicitly listed as included in the itinerary
Meals, alcohol and drinks or snacks outside of those stated as included
Taxis or private transport chosen during independent time
Personal spending, shopping or sightseeing
Passport, visa or entry clearance costs
Travel insurance
11. Travel Insurance
All participants must have valid travel insurance for the full duration of the trip.
Travel insurance must, at a minimum, cover medical expenses, personal belongings, trip interruption and cancellation.
Guests are recommended to provide their travel insurance policy number and the insurer’s 24-hour emergency contact details prior to departure, so this information can be held on file in case of an emergency.
Failure to obtain appropriate travel insurance is done at the guest’s own risk. The organiser accepts no responsibility for losses or costs arising from inadequate or absent insurance.
12. Trip Dates, Arrival & Departure
The trip runs from Wednesday 26 August 2026 to Wednesday 2 September 2026.
Guests should plan their travel so that they arrive in London in time to reach the accommodation between 4:00pm (earliest check-in time) and 6:00pm on Wednesday 26 August. Considering immigration and travel from the airport, this typically means booking a flight that arrives in London between 12:00pm and 3:00pm, depending on which airport is used.
On the final day, Wednesday 2 September, guests must check out of the accommodation by 10:00am. The organiser will not be responsible for accommodation beyond this check-out time.
13. Activities & Itinerary Structure
A sample itinerary is provided on the website for illustrative purposes only and does not represent a fixed schedule. It is intended to give an overview of the type of experiences included in the trip.
The final itinerary will be shared closer to the date of the trip and will be shaped by group preferences, availability and events taking place in London at the time. Some core elements will remain fixed, such as attending Notting Hill Carnival, while others may vary.
The organiser may also suggest additional places, events or activities during the trip. These suggestions are optional, informal and not included in the trip price unless expressly stated otherwise.
Any activities, services or events not explicitly listed as included in the itinerary do not form part of this agreement. Where the organiser provides recommendations or assistance with optional activities, any contract will be between the guest and the third-party provider, and participation is entirely voluntary.
This trip combines shared group activities with independent time. Guests should expect periods of independent exploration or smaller group activities. The organiser and any assistants will be present during planned activities but will not be available at all times. Guests are responsible for managing their own movements during independent time and for arriving punctually at agreed meeting points.
14. Accommodation & Room Arrangements
Accommodation for the trip has been arranged in a hotel in South London.
The standard room offered for this trip is a private double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Pairs who want to share a room can do so for a reduced rate. The room is the same and will have one double bed.
In the unlikely event that the confirmed accommodation becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside our control, an alternative of a similar standard will be arranged for the same dates.
15. Transport During the Trip
A Transport for London travel card covering Zones 1–4 is included. This is intended for use once guests have arrived at the accommodation. Travel to and from the airport is not included.
Guests are responsible for the care and safekeeping of their travel card.
Lost or damaged cards must be replaced at the guest’s own expense.
Travel outside the covered zones must be paid for by the guest.
Taxis and ride-hailing services are optional and are not included.
16. Accessibility & Special Requirements
Guests are responsible for assessing their own physical and mental fitness to participate in the trip.
Guests must inform the organiser of any accessibility, dietary or medical requirements before booking.
The organiser will advise whether reasonable adjustments can be made.
Some locations, accommodation or activities may not be fully accessible due to the nature of the trip and the environments visited.
17. Guest Conduct & House Rules
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards others at all times.
Alcohol may be consumed responsibly.
Illegal drugs are not permitted on the premises.
Additional guests at the accommodation are only permitted at the organiser’s discretion.
Communal areas must be kept reasonably clean and tidy.
Personal boundaries must be respected at all times.
Additional ground rules may be agreed collectively during the trip where appropriate.
18. Complaints & Resolution Process
Guests are encouraged to raise any concerns as soon as possible.
Concerns should, where possible, be raised privately with the organiser.
The intention is to resolve issues during the trip rather than after it has ended.
19. Misconduct & Removal from the Trip
Minor issues will be addressed through discussion where possible.
Serious misconduct may result in removal from the trip without refund.
Guests may report concerns or incidents privately to the organiser.
The safety, wellbeing and comfort of the group will take priority at all times.
20. Participation & Attendance
Guests are not required to attend all activities.
The trip price remains fixed regardless of participation.
21. Information Required from Guests
At the time of booking, guests must provide the following information through a booking form that will be shared:
Full legal name
Date of birth
Gender
Emergency contact details
Dietary requirements
Accessibility needs
Relevant medical information that may affect participation or safety
This information is required to support planning and emergency preparedness.
22. Photography & Media
Photos and videos may be taken during the trip.
These may be used for promotional or marketing purposes by the organiser.
Guests who do not wish to appear in photos or videos must inform the organiser in advance.
23. Responsibility & Liability
The organiser is responsible only for the services explicitly included in the trip package.
Any guidance or recommendations provided by the organiser do not transfer responsibility to the organiser.
The organiser is the primary host and point of contact for the trip. Some activities may be delivered by third-party providers. During these activities, the organiser may step away once guests are safely engaged.
The organiser may be supported by assistants who help with facilitation or logistics. This does not change guest responsibilities or expectations of behaviour.
24. Assumption of Risk
This trip involves group activities, independent exploration and travel within a major city.
Guests acknowledge that participation involves a level of personal responsibility and everyday travel risk.
Guests are responsible for:
Making informed decisions about their participation
Following safety guidance provided during activities
Taking reasonable care for their own health and wellbeing
The organiser is not liable for loss, injury or damage arising from risks inherent to travel or from a guest’s failure to follow safety instructions, unless caused by the organiser’s negligence.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
